現在の研究内容

コウチュウ目ゾウムシ上科を対象に、形態・分子・生態情報に基づく複合的なアプローチによる分類・系統・進化学的研究を行う傍ら、DNAの塩基配列を含む昆虫種情報のデータベース化にも取り組んでいる。2008年より、植食性甲虫類を主な研究対象として、農業生態系に生息する昆虫の分類および生物多様性指標の開発に関する研究業務に従事している。
